My new car!!!

Did some looking around on Friday and today went and got it. So very excited!!!

The plane ride here...

Imagine a 8 hour plane ride with 2 kids (one being a infant), having to pack up everyones clothing, shoes, etc... I definetly don't suggest anyone do it. However it did go just about as smooth as possible, which was a blessing. To pack up my stuff and both the kids it took 4 check in bags all weighing about 49.6 then I had 2 carry on suitcases, a back pack on Brooks back a back pack on my back and best of all Cale in his carseat. (Which feels about like 49.6) The flight attendents were very helpful which was nice. We flew out at 7:30 at night on Sunday. And my plan worked perfectly... the kids fell asleep about an hour into the plane ride. It was long but we got to Texas safe, and we've been going ever since. Can't wait until Jonathan gets here. About 5 more weeks. Hope it goes fast!

Family Pictures...

Despite Brook's pink eye and all the rain that came this week end we finally got our family pictures done. I'll get them developed and out once were in Texas and things have slowed down. Hope you love them as much as I do...

PoOp Happens!?!

What a day! We go to Brooklyn's doctor appt. @ 11:00. Dr. Miley gave us some eye drops and a sticker. When needed a few things from the NEX so we went there afterwards. As most "women" (or at least my mom) do you go in the grocery store planning to get 4 things and it somehow ends up being 20. Anyways me and the kids go in. Get this and that Cale starts getting fussy... he's hungry. I put the good ole pacifier in, he's OK. Almost done then I smell something... Cale to be exact. I'm thinking wow he just dumped him self. (ha ha I said dump for you Erica:) So I go to look and "OH MY GOTCH!!!" This boy has had a major blow-out! Like he's sitting in a small puddle. (sorry to the pregnant women reading) So now not only is he hungry, he wants his diaper changed. To make matters worse Cale is so mad that he's slinging his arms around, but not before he put his hand to the side of him in you know what! So now Cale has a yellow hand, yellow leg and since he's slinging his arms around now he has poop up by his face on his head padding. I head to self check out and sure enough I get behind "grandma" and she's not so hot with the self check out. Finally my turn I check out and off to the truck. I debated whether or not to take Cale out and clean him off as best as I could before I got home, but I decided that that would probably only cause a bigger mess so he sat in "it" til we got home. Cale then got an immediate bath and his car seat got an immediate washing and is now air drying.

Pink eye, flowers, and a scratch

Pink Eye:
Yesterday morning Brook wakes up and said her eye hurts. I looked at it didn't see anything but told her to go get a wet rag and wipe her eye. Well through out the day she kept getting a lot of gook in it. It kept getting worse and started getting pink. So I made her a doctors appt. And when she woke up this morning her eye was madded shut and the other one is starting to have the same gook. Better get to the doctor fast!

Flowers:
As some of might know yesterday was mine and Jonathan's 3 year anniversary. Aren't they beautiful!


Scratch:
Went to get Cale out of bed this morning so we could take Jonathan to work and found this big scratch on his nose. And I just cut his finger nails! Maybe he needs to sleep in mittens.


With all this going on we are SUPPOSE to have family pictures taken on the beach this Saturday... pray Brook's eye/eyes? get better soon. As for Jonathan, we got to see him last night for the first time since Sunday. And as usual he's been working hard and long hours so he came home, took a shower, ate and headed off to bed by 9:00. The ships inspection is almost over, thank God! But of course Jonathan has duty today so we won't see him til late tomorrow. As for me... I'm about ready for things to slow down so we can spend some family time together before me and the kids head off to Texas.

Last week...

Both the kids are growing. Cale's changing every day and Brook still loves here brother and helps out alot.


Naked! If you see the red by Brook's eye that's leftover from were the scab was... she fell pretty hard.

We call him Caley Belly for a reason... :) My sweet little man
