It's your day of Lucky!

Hey Everybody! I know it's been a while, like over three years... but I'm going to give blogging another go! Bare with me though I'm a little rusty!

A little catching up on what's going on with us. Other than work and school the most exciting thing with us is SOFTBALL and T-BALL!!!

Brooklyn is on a Valley View softball league and is really loving it. This is her first year and she is a natural! She plays first baseman. Just this past Monday she had her first game and the EAGLES won!  10-1  YAY SIS!!!

(Sorry I don't have more pictures of sis actually playing softball... Jonathan wasn't able to make it because of work so I did more videos than pics so he could watch her in action.)

Now for Cale... This is also is his first year at T-ball, he also plays for the Valley View League. He is really enjoying it and we really enjoy watching him. If you've never experienced watching 6 and under T-ball games... I highly recommend it! It will make your day!

He had his first game this past Tuesday and he got to be the catcher! It was quite funny, he didn't know what to think about all that gear. The boys did good all though there was confusion here and there as you probably could guess. All in all the EAGLES did great! They won 20-8  YAY CALE!!!

That is Cale being carried by his coach after getting all the catcher gear on for the first time... he was
a little slow.

Some funny things to add:

When we arrived at Cale's game he runs out to the field to get warmed up and Jonathan and I go and sit on the bleachers (Brooklyn found some friends... shocker I know). Anyway I sit there and then realize I hadn't got any pictures of Cale in his uniform. So I head down to the field and I'm standing by the fence getting my camera pulled up on my phone and trying to pick out where Cale is. And just as Im thinking where is he? I look down and right at the fence there he stands. "Hi momma!" "Hi Cale, you need to get out there and practice I just wanted to get a picture of you." "Ok I just need a kiss. ( he puckers up gets a kiss.) I wuv you momma." and then runs back to practice. Yes he's still my sugar baby!

Then towards the end of the game they let Cale play 2nd base. He gets out there game is back on and then it starts. He puts his cap on then he takes it off, on, off, on, off , etc. Me and Jonathan just look at each other like OH NO because if there's one thing we know about Cale its that if something doesn't look right, feel right, etc... he wont stop trying to fix it till its right. Then Jonathan says "Does he even have his glove?" I'm like "Yeah its between his legs." So I'm trying to holler at him to get his cap on and he keeps motioning that it doesn't feel right, so Jonathan runs down to the fence just about the time Cale's cap feels better and he can now put it on. Then he looks at me on the bleachers and motion/yells he doesn't have his glove! Seriouswee?!?! (seriously as Cale says)

So Jonathan is still watching the game from the fence and once again in the middle of the game Cale runs over to Jonathan gives him a high five and runs back out to his base! What a mess!

If any of you think you could make one of the kids games let me know. We would love it and I know you would too!
