At the ranch again

This past Saturday many of us all went to enjoy a pretty day at the ranch. Here's some pictures:

A couple weeks ago I went to a yoga class. And the other day I was showing Brooklyn some of the moves I learned in yoga; since you are walking around all day they say its good to put your legs straight up, get the weight off your feet and get your blood flowing. Then Cale joined us.

Family Homework

Brooklyn got her first homework assignment, to make a family portrait. It's really neat any homework her teacher, Mrs. Nelson sends home is 'Family Homework', for us to do together. It's sweet getting to watch our girl grow and learn.

Hanging at the Ranch

On Saturday we went to the Ranch and invited our friends Ellie, Aaron, and Noah and also joined Zac and Heather there. It was a day of relaxing, we swung on the front porch, took the kids for rides on the 4 wheeler and the golf cart (which they loved), then we went down to the river which was nice as usual.

What a face! He's definetly up to something!

Fun with Cousins

Last week Mom, Sarah, Amber and the kids came up to visit. The kids had a great time playing together, Olivia and Brooklyn played non stop, Cale would just follow them around and get into everything, and well Gusterson (Gus) just let the girls love on him. He's pretty squeezeable. It was great to see everyone.

What's happening in this picture:
Brooklyn being dressed up as a ballerina says that people are suppose to catch her... therefore she chose Libby to be the catcher. As you can see from the look on Lib's face she didn't want to be.

Tiny Dancer

At Justin and Laci's wedding they had a DJ... there was some people that liked the dance floor, but Brooklyn LOVED it. I've never seen her do anything like this. When just about everyone had left she was still dancing the night away, and even while we were loading up the car she begged me to go back and dance. If this doesn't make your day I don't know what will. On the way home I asked her where she learned those dance moves? Her reply: I just thought them in my head. She's my girl!
One thing I wish I would have also video taped was Justin and his sister Holly dancing together. It was so cute, hope someone got that on tape.

The Jenning Wedding

Last weekend was quite eventful. Jonathan was in Austin the whole week before, staying there longer than we expected so it was just and me and the kids. We all had to go to Jonesboro/Gatesville for the weekend since me and the kids were in my cousins Laci's wedding. So Friday when Jonathan got done in Austin he headed to Nannie and Bills until me and the kids got there, once Brooklyn got out of school on Friday we headed off as well. For those of you that don't know it started raining pretty much all over Texas last Thursday. It rained off and on the whole 2 hours and 15 minutes to Nannie and Bills, but the kids did awesome so that made the ride that much easier. Friday night we had the dinner rehersal... it was raining. FYI Brooklyn said she didn't need to go to the rehersal because she already knew what to do. Yeah she pretty much knows everything already. (scary I know she's not even a teen) The wedding was Saturday night, and yes it was still raining. Did I mention this was an outside wedding! Not really what you hope for on your wedding day, we all got pretty muddy and wet, but it still turned out beautiful. We had a crazy, but good weekend. Here's some pictures...

Amber, Olivia, and Gus joined us at Nannies it was great getting to hang out, the girls had alot of fun together.

Cale was the ring bearer and Gracelyn (Justin & Laci's daughter) was the flower girl along with Brooklyn, but since she can't walk her and Cale took a ride in the wagon down the aisle.

It was a beautiful wedding, special thanks to Justin and Laci for letting us be apart of it. We love you. Congratulations. May you share many wonderful years together.
