Fit for a Princess...

First let me start this post by giving a HUGE thanks to Aunt Erica, we love you and thank you so much for the vanity and chair. Also a thanks to JuJu and PaPa for delivering the vanity and chair. Thank you all so much.

So here it is my latest project:
I've been painting this vanity and stool white to match Brooklyn's other furniture. I was a little sad to paint the vanity white because it was wood and I love wood furniture, but it turned out so cute. And it looks even more princess like then before, and that's just what Brooklyn is!

I fancy 'B' for Brooklyn

Princess Brooklyn

She loves it! Thanks again! We love you all!

My school Girl

The rest of the 1st day...

So last Monday was Brooklyn's first day of Pre-K, we all took her to school, then just me and Cale went and picked her up then we were off to Mc Donalds for some lunch. After that we ran some errands and then came home and the kids played in the sprinkler. Here's some pics from the day:

sweet ole thing

Funny story:
As you can see in this picture Cale wanted to play on the play ground at McDonalds. So I call Brooklyn down & ask her to take Cale up to play and TO STAY WITH HIM!!! She says ok, they go up and come to the bubble (what brooklyn's standing in in the first pic) I wave but Cale doesn't want to stop so they're off again. Then I heard Brooklyn in another part of the playground and think, they got there fast. That's when I decide to go in and check things out for my self. What do I find...
Cale with a little boy and girl (they're siblings real sweet. the girls a/b 6 boys a/b 3) Then I hollar for Brook. Mean while the boy and girl say "we can watch him." "She wanted us to watch him so she could go play." What a mess huh? Pawning her brother off on some kids she met at Mc Donalds. When Brooklyn came to me she didn't understand why she was in trouble after all she "asked that boy and girl to watch him".

scoopin up some dirt

guilty boy?!?

While playing in the sprinkler in the front yard Cale noticed our neighbors "Ducks", after that he would go back and forth from getting in the water to walking back over to pet the ducks while saying 'duh duh' He loves animals!

This was funny! Cale loves to be outside and loves to get in the sprinkler. He likes the way the water feels on his hands when its squirting out, so he tends to get pretty close to the sprinkler. Well while he stands there feeling the water it's moving back and forth and he's just the right height that the water will squirt him right in the face. And he just stands there and screams like "why are you doing that? Stop it!"

Brooklyn's 1st Day of Pre-K!!!

The day has finally arrived, Brooklyn is now a school girl!
When getting ready to go to sleep the night before she could hardly stand it she was so excited. She kept asking what time I was going to wake her in the morning.
So the morning comes and Cale and I go to wake her up. (For those that don't know both my kids wake up in a great mood, automatically happy 98% of the time) So we go and nudge her "Brooklyn wake up its time for school" nudge again. She sits up "It's my first day of school, I get to go to school. I'm sorry Cale sissy won't be here, hers going to school, but I'm gonna come back." It was so sweet.

Brooklyn had a great first day, she met some friends and had fun playing. She learned songs, math, went to the library, played on the play ground, practiced her ABC's and even brought home a scholastic book order! As for me and Jonathan, we did good, no crying. It's just hard for us to believe our baby girl is in school!

Here's just some pictures of our sweet boy:

Sneak a Peak

On Friday Brooklyn, Cale and I went to Swift Elementary for a Sneak a Peak at Brook's new Pre-K class. She LOVED it! We saw her locker, the pretend centers, the computers, etc... She didn't even want to leave.

Above her in green is her name on her locker. (Look at her pose! I love this girl!)

The other day Brooklyn wanted to do a facial peel-off mask together... so we did, here are some pics

We headed down to my parents this past weekend, mainly to meet little Gus. We all had a great time getting to hang out with siblings and cousins. Ate some good food, swam alot, and played outside. The kids had fun together, Brooklyn and Olivia playing chase and Cale trying to catch up.

A hungry boy & some hot dogs

Well it all started yesterday when Cale woke up from a nap. Jonathan had the day off so we decided to go get groceries together. Got the diaper bag + got the boy + got the list. So we get to the grocery store, not even in there 5 minutes guess who's hungry. No not Jonathan, Cale. Look in the bag for snacks... none there. (Cale's been taking things out of his bag) We keep shopping Cale seems to be ok if we keep moving. We give him things to hold, but he just wants food. Then I hand him the hot dogs. What happens when you give a hungry boy some wiener dogs to hold?
This:

My always sweet always hungry boy!

Needless to say once he started on the hot dogs he was fine, but then we had to pay for them. So that means taking them from him, he was mad and he let us know. The whole store heard him scream!

Guess what we had for supper last night? Yummy gnawed on hot dogs! :)
