What Brooklyn hit her head on. (Cinder-blocks)
Why Brook has two small gashes instead of one big one. (small chunk missing on cinder-block) Not sure if that helped us or made it worse.
My poor girls head :(

Brookie this morning.
It was awful and know it won't be the last time. It was almost 5, Brook was outside playing with the kids, I was just in the house watching tv waiting for Jonathan to call to say come pick him up. I hear screaming and crying I rush out to see whos hurt as I open the door I am met by Brook with blood running down her face. Bring her inside put her on the counter, wipe her face with a paper towel. As soon as I wiped it it looked as if I never did. That's when I knew it was time for the ER. Called Jonathan told him we were leaving to go to Triplers ER and took off. On the way to the hospital the bleeding slowed down, but Brooklyn was falling asleep. Finally get there, get check in and 10-15 minutes later Jonathan arrives. Now were just waiting, Brook's head is bleeding a little every minute or so, but she's acting her regular self. Finally about 7 something they call us back, clean the blood off, Brooks doing good, they said she'll need two stitches. (She has two gashes but only one was open) But first they have to give her a shot in her gashes to numb it. That's when things got bad. Brook always goes to the Dr. with me and I always have something with needles done to me. So the girl knows a thing or two about needles! That's where the Dr. made her first mistake... she had the needle out in the open right in front of Brook's face. So of course she freaked. It took 4 grown people to hold her down while giving her the numbing shot. Brook's screaming and crying, I'm trying not to cry my self and my stomach is getting weaker. Finally when they were done with the shots Brook went to her daddy and wouldn't let anyone touch her. Every time the Dr. even looked at her Brook would freak out, turn away and tell her not to touch her. After that horrible bit they decided that we would do glue instead of stitches. Dr. said she didn't want to traumatize her anymore. But still doing the glue was bad enough. Finally she got fixed up and got a popsicle. After 3 hours at the ER we came home exhausted. Although I was super tired I had trouble sleeping... it's hard to see your baby like that. I told Jonathan I was going to start bubble wrapping everything!
